Why Tesla Owners Choose Us for Paint Protection Film

Tesla's factory paint is notoriously thin and soft — rock chips, scratches, and UV damage show up fast, especially in Arizona. We offer multiple film brands and thicknesses so you get the right protection for how you drive, not a one-size-fits-all upsell.

  • Tesla-Specific Installation Experience

Model 3, Y, S, and X each have unique body lines, panel gaps, and paint characteristics. Our technicians are trained on Tesla-specific templates and understand how to work with the multi-coat paint system without lifting edges or trapping contaminants.

  • Multiple Film Options, Not Just One Brand

We carry FlexiShield (8.5mil and 10mil), XPEL Ultimate Plus 10, and STEK DYNOshield/DYNOmight — each with different specs, price points, and warranties. Compare them side-by-side in our pricing calculator above and choose what fits your budget and driving needs.

  • Built for Arizona Conditions

Phoenix summers push past 120°F with intense UV exposure year-round. Every film we install is tested for desert conditions — self-healing activates naturally in Arizona heat, and all films resist yellowing and delamination through monsoon seasons and daily sun exposure.

  • Up to 12-Year Warranty + Lifetime Workmanship

Manufacturer warranties range from 8 to 12 years depending on film, covering yellowing, cracking, and delamination. We add our own lifetime workmanship guarantee on top — and both transfer to future owners, which protects your Tesla's resale value.

  • Invisible, Self-Healing Protection

All films in our lineup are optically clear with 90+ gloss units — completely invisible once installed. Surface scratches from car washes, keys, and light contact disappear on their own with heat exposure. Your Tesla looks factory-fresh, not wrapped.

Tesla PPF — Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about paint protection film for Tesla Model 3, Y, S, and X.

Pricing depends on the film brand, thickness, and how much coverage you want. For Model 3 and Model Y (Compact tier): Full Front starts at $1,299 with FlexiShield 8.5mil and goes up to $1,599 with XPEL 10mil. Full Body ranges from $3,999 to $4,999 depending on film. Model S and Model X fall into larger size tiers with proportional pricing. You can see exact pricing for every package and film in our pricing calculator above — we publish everything online, no quote needed.
Look for manufacturer certification (not just "authorized dealer"), a climate-controlled facility, and experience with your specific vehicle. Ask whether they use pre-cut templates or hand-cut on your car — pre-cut is safer for Tesla's soft paint. Check Google reviews, ask about their workmanship warranty (ours is lifetime), and confirm they'll show you pricing upfront. A good installer will walk you through film options rather than pushing one brand.
It depends on coverage. Essential (bumper + mirrors) is typically same-day. Full Front takes 1–2 days. Full Body requires 4–5 days. The film needs time to cure properly before your car leaves the shop — rushing this step leads to lifting edges and trapped moisture. We work in a climate-controlled facility to minimize dust contamination during installation.
Most Tesla owners go with Full Front — it covers the bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors, and headlights, which take the majority of road impact. If you're commuting on I-10 or Loop 101 daily, the Track Package adds rocker panels and rear fender areas where debris kicks up from your own tires. Full Body makes the most sense if you plan to keep the car 5+ years or want maximum resale protection. Essential works as a budget starting point, but Full Front is the sweet spot for value.
We're in Chandler, Arizona — easily accessible from Loop 101, Loop 202, and I-10. We serve customers from Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, Scottsdale, Mesa, and Phoenix. Most customers are within a 20–30 minute drive. You can book your appointment online and we'll confirm availability for your preferred date.
Every installation includes two warranties: the manufacturer's warranty (8–12 years depending on film brand, covering yellowing, cracking, and delamination) plus our lifetime workmanship guarantee (covering installation defects, edge lifting, and adhesion). FlexiShield offers up to 12 years, XPEL offers 10 years, and STEK offers 8–10 years. Both warranties transfer to future owners, which helps protect resale value.
Tesla's water-based multi-coat paint is noticeably softer than traditional automotive finishes. It chips easier, scratches faster, and shows damage more visibly. In Arizona specifically, highway debris on I-10 and the 101/202 loops causes front-end damage quickly — most unprotected Teslas we see have visible rock chips within the first few months. PPF won't prevent every chip, but it absorbs the vast majority of impact that would otherwise damage paint permanently.
All of them — Model 3, Model Y, Model S, and Model X, including the latest Model 3 Highland refresh. Each model has its own pre-cut templates designed around Tesla-specific body lines, sensors, cameras, and panel gaps. We never hand-cut directly on your vehicle's paint.
We carry three brands so you can compare: FlexiShield (8.5mil and 10mil) offers the thickest film and longest warranty at 12 years — best overall value. XPEL Ultimate Plus 10 (9.6mil) is the industry standard with excellent self-healing and a 10-year warranty. STEK DYNOshield is a solid option with competitive pricing and 8–10 year coverage. All three are self-healing, optically clear, and tested for Arizona heat. The pricing calculator above lets you compare them side-by-side.
They do different things. PPF is a thick physical barrier (8–10mil) that absorbs rock chips and scratches — it's the only product that stops impact damage. Ceramic coating is a thin chemical layer (a few microns) that repels water, makes washing easier, and adds gloss, but it won't stop a rock chip. If you can only do one, PPF first. Many customers add ceramic coating on top of PPF for the best of both — physical protection plus easy maintenance.
Wait 7 days before washing to let the film fully adhere. After that, use pH-neutral car soap and microfiber wash mitts — avoid automatic car washes with stiff brushes. Minor scratches self-heal with heat exposure (Arizona sun handles this naturally) or a pour of warm water. For stubborn contaminants like bug splatter or tree sap, 70% isopropyl alcohol works well. That's about it — PPF is low-maintenance by design.
Book online through our appointment calendar for instant confirmation. Most appointments are scheduled 1–2 weeks out, though we can sometimes accommodate shorter notice. Select your Tesla model and desired package during booking — we'll confirm everything and send pre-installation instructions. You can also call us at (480) 331-7905 if you'd prefer to talk it through first.
