Ceramic Coating Application
A coating locks in whatever is underneath it, so every application includes a wash, a decontamination and a polish that strips old products off the paint and brings the gloss up. That polish does not remove swirls or scratches; correcting those is a separate service. Three service tiers, estimated by vehicle below and priced exactly in the booking dashboard.

- Hand wash in filtered water and decontamination to a surgically clean surface, stripping everything bonded to the paint.
- Polished, included in every application. This polish strips contaminants and any old wax, sealant or coating off the paint and brings the gloss up so the coating bonds to bare, clean paint. It is a preparation polish, not a corrective one: it removes no swirls and no scratches.
- Panels wiped down so nothing is trapped under the coating.
- Coating hand applied panel by panel by factory trained technicians.

Every application includes the preparation and gloss polish described above. Removing swirls, scratches and other imperfections is paint correction, a separate service that is not included in the prices above and is only performed if you choose to add it. Cybertruck coating is not offered; coatings do not bond to its unpainted stainless body.
Windshield Protection Film Installation

The interior is not opened up for this one. The film is applied to the outside of the windshield, so there is nothing to drape and nothing of yours is touched inside the vehicle.
Teslas price as cars and sedans. Panoramic windshields (Model X, Cybertruck) are not offered film; ceramic tint is available for them instead.
Wheel Repair Service
Curb rash repaired and refinished to match the factory look, booked online. Most repairs are completed the same day.
A wheel repair is a repair, not a film installation, and we describe it as exactly that. The wheel is repaired on the vehicle. We do not remove your tires, and there is no wash or film prep sequence attached to it. The surgical prep described further down this page applies to film and coating work, where a contaminated surface ruins the result.

At Auto Cosmetics, every installation is a surgical procedure.
The name is not decoration. Cosmetic surgery is exactly what this is, and a surgical procedure fails for the same reasons a film installation fails: contamination, a rushed prep, an unsteady hand, the wrong room. So the vehicle is prepped before anything touches it, the bay is run the way an operating room is run, and the same checklist is followed on every car that comes through the door.
A 6,200 square foot facility with climate controlled, filtered and lit bays, kept clean and organized. Dust and heat are what ruin an installation, so the environment is controlled before anyone starts.
Filtered water only, from a system we installed for this reason. Ordinary tap water carries minerals that dry into spots and leave deposits trapped under film. The wash before your installation is done with water that cannot leave anything behind.
A lead installer and an assistant on every vehicle. One set of hands on the film, another managing the surface, the tools and the clock. Factory trained, both of them.

Not every film gets installed here.
Every film we carry clears the same bar before it goes on a customer's vehicle. A cheaper one exists for every film on our list. We do not install them.
- Published technical data sheets. If a manufacturer will not publish the numbers, we will not install the film.
- A genuine self healing top coat, verified on the data sheet, not just claimed in a brochure.
- Real thickness. 8.5 to 10 mil urethane, because thinner film absorbs less of what the road throws.
- A written manufacturer warranty of 10 to 12 years against yellowing, cracking, peeling and delamination.
- Proven in Arizona heat and UV, not just in a lab in a mild climate.
- Optical clarity we will put on a black car, gloss measured and published, above 90 GU.
Choosing the film is the first half. The installation is the other half, and it is the half you can see on a finished car.
The film continues around the panel edge and is tucked behind it. There is no edge sitting out on the paint, so there is no line to catch dirt, no lip for a pressure washer to find, and nothing to lift years later. On a finished car you have to look twice to find the film at all.
A faster install leaves the film edge sitting on the panel face, sometimes with relief cuts at the curves. That edge is visible from a few feet away, it collects a dirt line within months, and it is where lifting and peeling start. Walk any lot and look at the hood edges and mirror caps. You will start seeing it everywhere.

Payment
Nothing to pay until the work is done, with one exception you are told about before you book.
Booking online costs nothing. No deposit and no card required to reserve your installation. You pay when you pick up the vehicle.
Scheduled specialty installations take a 50% deposit at drop off. Some installations are prepared for your vehicle in advance and hold dedicated bay time and a lead installer. For those, half the installation price is due at drop off. You are told before you book, never at the counter.
Cash, check and debit carry no fee. Pay by any of those and the installed price you booked is exactly what you pay.
Credit cards carry a 2.6% processing fee, which is what our processor charges us to accept the card. It is disclosed here and again before you pay, never added quietly at the counter.
The installed price you saw when you booked is the installed price you pay, with any promo or military discount already applied. No hidden fees, no shop supply charges, no line items you did not agree to.
One guarantee covers everything we touch
Peace of mind is part of the installation.
Our lifetime workmanship guarantee covers every installation for as long as you own the vehicle. Think of it as insurance on the work, except you never file the claim. If our work ever fails you, we make it right.
You never deal with a manufacturer. If a film develops a warranty issue years down the road, you make one call to Auto Cosmetics. We diagnose it, we file the manufacturer claim, we manage it to the end, and we do the replacement work. No forms, no waiting on hold with a warranty department, no proving your case to a company you have never met. That is our job.
